Kathleen Zhang is the Founder and Principal of Zhang CPA Group in Acton and Lexington, MA. She holds a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, with CPA licenses in both MA and MD.  Kathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Jinan University. For approximately 16 years, Kathy has been an Advisory Board Member of Ascend New England, the largest non-profit Pan-Asian membership organization for business professionals in North America. Furthermore, she is a Founding Member of the Ascend Bentley University Student Chapter.

Kathy has played a pivotal role as Co-Chair, Treasurer, and Organizing Committee member for New England’s largest Chinese Professionals' Chinese New Year Gala and Community Forums for over 11 years. She served as the Treasurer for the New England Chinese Information and Networking Association (NECINA) from 2015 to 2017. Following her father's serious illness, she has been acting as the NECINA E-Club Advisor since 2017. Currently, she is responsible for the Jinan University Alumni Association in Boston and has been volunteering for the National Covid-19 Platform since the onset of the pandemic.

Kathy is known for her dedication and responsibility in her work. She has a deep passion for the culture of traditional Chinese medicine and enjoys learning about health preservation knowledge within this field. She aims to spread the profound and long-standing culture of traditional Chinese medicine along with others. In her leisure time, Kathy enjoys walking, fitness dance, Baduanjin qigong, Taichi, Bafawubu, gourmet food, traveling, photography, and Chinese culture, among other activities.
