Originally hailing from the east coast of China, Jim embarked on his professional journey in the investment department of a major state-owned bank in Shanghai, where he served as an investment analyst following his graduation from leading college and graduate school in China. In pursuit of advanced education and professional growth, Jim made the pivotal decision to relocate to the United States in the 1990s to pursue further graduate studies.
Throughout his career, Jim has amassed invaluable experience in enterprise-scale IT technology development and management within Fortune 500 multinational corporations. He has demonstrated exemplary leadership by spearheading teams in the creation of large-scale commercial web solutions and mobile applications, while cultivating expertise across a spectrum of IT domains including data management, system architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and project management. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a holder of multiple U.S. patents, Jim consistently delivers innovative solutions while mentoring and empowering his teams.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jim is deeply committed to community and charitable initiatives, actively championing language education and cultural exchange activities. In last two years, he has played a pivotal leadership role within our organization, tirelessly promoting community dialogue, networking and support, and cultural enrichment among the Chinese and Asian communities in the United States and taking strategic initiatives to drive our organizational success.
Outside of his professional and philanthropic pursuits, Jim finds enjoyment in traveling, engaging in outdoor sports, and indulging in literature and music.
